The world is like a black void I want to come out They say blood is the way Done in secret should be shouted from the rooftops My honesty deserves beattings I'm a beautiful liar of courage Wrapped tightly in the cone of film Why can't I break through the driver? Why can't I have control? Why am I controled? Jesus you bled... Rip me out of this place... I've been told ressurection comes through pools of pain Red marking the concrete Is truly a messy road and the infernal violence all around Tearing and shredding That black spirit holds my mouth shut Free reign of domination It takes blood to be free Dear Jesus, please make me bleed So I can be free I am Happy me... |

Craig, You are a super poet who uses at times very graphic and very deep deep emotion to express yourself and to me this poem was really that kind of a poem in that it was sort of like watching the movie "The Passion of the Christ" in that, like the movie, it was a Beautiful Beautiful illustration of God’s Sacrifice and of God’s Love but, frankly, I could only watch the movie once because it was soooooo emotional and soooooo graphic. Anyway, this was a Great poem that did remind me of a couple of very worth while things: First, without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness of sin and, second, that I should be very very thankful for The Blood that Christ shed for me. Amen. Smiles. Your poem reminded me a bit of one of my own early poems that I posted here in Spiritual.
