Silent prayers upon my lips, it’s me again, I said. I’m glad I have You to talk to, as I lay here in my bed. I’ve tried so hard to please You in all I say and do And I know I couldn’t do a thing without the strength of You. Thankful prayers upon my lips, knowing that You care. There have been times when I was lost, but You were always there. I thank you for the sad times when all seemed lost and gray And I thank you for the sunshine when you cleared the clouds away. Grateful prayers upon my lips for all your amazing grace. I know that someday, I shall look upon your face. And I remember all those distant times when from you I did roam But I know that some sweet day, you’ll come and take me home. Hopeful prayers upon my lips, as I thank Him for each day Knowing that my Lord’s alive, and with me He will stay. Humble prayers upon my lips, knowing I don’t deserve But He loves me anyway, and Him, I’ll always serve. as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord. |

It's wonderful to know the true and living Jesus that we can pray to anytime, anywhere. Phony gods demand form and ritual but Jesus - God's first name - looks directly into our heart. Thanks for posting! |
