Coasting Hands off the throttle Traveling along with no destiny in sight One day follows another Never knowing where this road leads I try to take no fears with me Knowing my God is always near Hoping my sacrifices Will be fruitful Then at journey's end I can look back Seeing beautiful flowers Growing along the road |

This was very sweet. I loved the lines "Hoping my sacrifices will be fruitful." For me, it's what really connected me to your beautiful poem.  In the sight of Love, fear isn't even as great as a single hair: in the law of Love, everything is offered as a sacrifice |

Marcia, Smiles. Not that I know or you know, but, well, I guess that's what happens when one finally gets over the hill ... "Coasting" ... and, yes, we'll finally have that special special time to take in all the Beautiful Beautiful flower memories and such in our lives. The assurance of our heavenly Father's love, changes our hopeless striving to delightful offerings. Leaning on Him we can coast rather than strive. I really appreciate this thoughtful poem. Makes one think a little deeper. God bless, Rae |
