Joy From Above

We’ve many reasons for joy friend, a joy from God that has no end,
A joy that begins deep within, the hearts of many who come to Him.
And this joy placed within our hearts, shall never end, wants it starts,
These reasons for joy all come from, God above and Christ His Son.

As God in Heaven condescended to, lowly sinners like me and you,
To shine down into a darkened place, the Light of His Saving Grace,
And God sent to earth, His Only Son, to be the Savior for everyone,
Conceived by the Spirit of Eternity; born of a virgin so all could see.

He had compassion for all the world, sending us with news to herald,
That Christ came for every nation, to be for all men, God’s Salvation.
This was accomplished at Calvary, where Christ died for you and me,
Reconciling sinful man to God; bringing peace to this earth men trod.

Through His death on the cross, He purchased life for all sinners lost,
Conquering for man death and sin, and victory attained for all by Him.
We’re adopted into the family of God, while still upon this earthly sod,
Brought into Christ’s sanctified Church, and all through a spiritual birth.

Now waiting for the coming of Christ, to be transported to Eternal Life,
Then receive a new body glorified; to be eternally by The Savior’s side.
For these reasons and many more, we have a joy from Christ our Lord,
God’s joy that you can also receive, if you this day would only believe.

He's coming very soon, the signs are very clear,
And when that trumpet sounds, we’ll be otta here!
Waiting in Him with Great Expectation,  Bob Gott

Good Afternoon Tom,

Your question, I believed God used, to inspire another poem
(say tuned to PP). And I guess that is part of the answer to
your question Tom. Poems generally just come to me as I am
talking to The Lord about a problem that I am confronting myself,
or with someone within my family, or someone and/or something
I bump into in this life. I do thank you for your ongoing comments
of encouragement.

In Christ's Love

Have a \\\|/// Blessed Day

Bob,

I thought that your poem was a very informative, a very joyful, and a very convincing invitation for all to come and taste and see how Very Good our Lord can be. Amen.

Again, enjoyable reading and, again, God bless you.

-Bob

Off of the record, from the 1st stanza, 3rd line, once it starts might read a bit better than wants it starts.
