Sometimes we remember to ask His forgiveness, but forget to accept His grace...

Each time I kneel to pray,
all my sins I must survey,
and I ask the Lord to forgive.
As His hands lift up my face,
He reminds me to accept His grace,
for His son bore death that I may live.

Steve,

Your poem is so very very True and I am reminded here that, as a Christian, I am not only to live life but I am to live life more abundantly and that verse, to me, means that I am not to live a life in a continued state of repentance, but I am to live a life in a continued state of Victory!!!

Loved your poem and I thought that you did a Wonderful job at meeting Joyce's challenge.
