For the longest I can remember Ive been missing something and didnt know quite where to look. Always just maundered and felt a little lost only to realize later that it was something God took. Not to get me mad or hurt me in anyway. But to have for me someone, who later, would complete me in every way. so please, after you breathe life into me, make me from nothing, and take my rib, make my best friend, my true love in your eyes and let her live. After all she'll complete me knowing only that she was made from me, made for me, and made to love me as much as she can. She's my other half. the stars in my night sky. what makes my stomach catch butterflies and sets them free with one touch of her hand. So when she grabs my hand, and pulls me close, we'll fill a void between us that would feel unreal to most. Because from the moment we meet we'll never really be apart due to the fact that we're connected as one. Intertwined like vines starting at the heart, going head to toe, anywhere our blood runs. I can't wait til He says "Let there be light in his life." and shows me the one, my better half, my wife. ~Jamison~ "feeling sorrow for all the things u had to steal and borrow, bring back the dates we had b4 tomorrow"-red jumpsuit apparatus |

Jamison, This was a very special poem and I really never thought of it quite like you explained it before, but, truly, how very special it is that God has taken the rib of every man and created for him his most perfect Companion and I don't know why exactly, but your poem has me singing "You Are the Sunshine of My Life" by Stevie Wonder. It must be something about my wife (better half) being the light of my life. Anyway, enjoyed your poem and thank you for sharing it with us and God bless. -Bob |
