How Can I? How Can I Not?

How can I say thank You, when thank You's not enough?
How can I not say thank you, when You came from God above?
There's nothing I can say or do to earn all that You gave
So the only way to pay you back is to serve You to my grave.

How can I say I love You, when my love is not enough?
How can I not love You when You gave Your only Son?
There's not enough love to compare to what You freely gave
So the only way to love You is to love You to my grave.

How can I tell others of what You did for me?
How can I not tell them when it's You who's set me free?
There aren't enough words to make people see what gift You gave
So the only way to tell them is to tell it to my grave.

How could He say I love you, when we don't deserve His love
How could He come to earth and leave Paradise above?
He came because He loved us and died, for us, to save.
But praise the Lord, He rose again, He is not in the grave.

I think many of us often ask ourselves these same questions, and you so beautifully wove them together.

Dee,

I feel sometimes words cannot express our deep deep Love and Emotion for our Lord and Savior and sometimes, it's true, all we can do is just be still, wordless, and in awe of what He has done. WOW!!!

A beautiful poem, but words really don't give it justice.
