A Mighty Savior Jesus is the answer When you’re on a troubled road And all your grief and sorrows Become a heavy load. Jesus is the answer When your body’s wreaked with pain And after years of treatment Your symptoms still remain. Jesus is the answer When you struggle to survive And only bill collectors Remind you you’re alive. Jesus is the answer When you feel all hope is gone And each and every moment Makes harder to live on. Jesus is the answer Though you may feel weak and small Remember as your Savior He overcame it all. The above poem was written in response to my own challenge. If anyone else would like to write a poem and meet my challenge, please write a poem that begins with the first line “Jesus is the answer” and then introduce a first line to a poem that you would like to challenge someone else to write.
