How Can I? How Can I Not? to my mother, who showed me God's love How can I say thank You, when thank You's not enough? How can I not say thank you, when You came from God above? There's nothing I can say or do to earn all that You gave So the only way to pay you back is to serve You to my grave. How can I say I love You, when my love is not enough? How can I not love You when You gave Your only Son? There's not enough love to compare to what You freely gave So the only way to love You is to love You to my grave. How can I tell others of what You did for me? How can I not tell them when it's You who's set me free? There aren't enough words to make people see what gift You gave So the only way to tell them is to tell it to my grave. How could He say I love you, when we don't deserve His love How could He come to earth and leave Paradise above? He came because He loved us and died, for us, to save. Deanna, A very nice poem devoted to your Mother who I know is very proud of it and of you and of your decision to follow God and to share on this earth with others your Wonderful poetry and His Precious Precious Love. God bless you and, again, thank you (thank you) for sharing. -Bob I hope you don’t mind, but, as a couple of helpful suggestions, you might want to leave a space between your line(s) that contain your title and the context of your poem and to be a bit careful of the font color that you choose because some colors are harder to read on the light blue background than others. |

I will take those into consideration. actually, I copied and pasted from my word document, and hadn't realized that there weren't any spaces. and you're also right about the font color. sorry. ...:-)Dee as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord. |
