How fun! I'm new here so hello to everyone here. It's so nice to find a board of believer-poets! No, it's more than nice for me, it's Wonderful! Okay, so here's my contribution (hot off the press since I read his request...) Of all the miracles I've known- none burst upon this weepy faith to rouse and raise the vision high that even I did pause- silencing the world. Hush now! I must hear more of this! (while theologians raged) caged, I suppose, neatly tucked away in their strange pages, -such hopeless places- quite satisfied. God saving all? How can this be?! Creation set free? Of all the miracles I've known- none compare so sweet- while tears dropped at His feet on such a hopeless beach. |

PonderingsS, Great Job at meeting the challenge and let me extend to you a Great Big W e l c o m e ! ! ! First, let me say that I really really appreciate your Enthusiasism that you've displayed here by stepping right up to the plate, taking the wild pitch, and knocking my challenge right out of the ballpark as your very first post. WOW!!! I am very very impressed, honored, and a bit humbled by your actions. Second, I thought your poem was Wonderful. I love that you write in free verse (words that seem to come straight from your heart) and I thought that your words flowed very nicely and, yes, regardless of what the theologians might be doing, tears dropping at the feet of Jesus gets me every single time... Again, welcome, challenge well met, and, if you don’t mind, please leave a first line as a challenge for the next person to write a poem about… If you don’t mind. God bless. -Bob |

What a wonderfully inspiring, and thought provoking first post, and you could not have a better poet to inspire you to take on a challenge that is for sure, than Lighthouse Bob. Welcome to Passions, and I know you will love the people and the poetry here, it is home to a lot of wonderful people. |

I'm not sure why it said that was my 'first post" because it was not!? In any case, to this: "Again, welcome, challenge well met, and, if you don’t mind, please leave a first line as a challenge for the next person to write a poem about… If you don’t mind. God bless. -Bob Oh my, yes--I did forget to do that....sorry~ (This is much harder than actually writing a poem, ya know?) The concept of continuity passed to others.....okay, lovely...let me try... If no rule or rhyme did God require when coming to His throne of grace... then this, |
