Early Morning Praise Palm trees sway to silent breezes Crying clouds gently weep Lightnings flash and thunders roll And wakes me from my sleep. Not Mother Nature, but Father God Displays His wondrous power For without His creative touch She couldn’t produce one flower. I wonder as God shows His passion His awesome love for each one How we got so mixed up And forget to acknowledge His Son. So I lay in my bed and I praise Him The one who created each one. My one God, my heavenly Father My redeemer, my Savior…His Son. as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord. |

lacydee, What a most wonderful "Early Morning Praise" to Jesus and a most insightful acknowledgement of God as being the Creator. My favorite stanza from your poem was... quote: ...because it really puts God on His rightful Throne or position over the creation that He created and shines a bit more filtered light on Mother Nature. Enjoyed reading and God bless. -Bob |
