Reflections of Church Bells “How much longer can this carry on? I feel as if all strength is gone From in my soul, there is no song I only wish I could belong But in my mind I know I can’t For wrongs I’ve done, how could God grant Forgiveness for one like me? Lord, can you hear my plea?” And in the distance a church bell rang And there within the people sang As to the Lord a sinner came With all his sorrows, guilt, and shame And laid them at His feet… And there was made complete Love as patient, Love as kind, And Love as never one should find If one should listen to their mind And not find Love within A Love that frees from sin… I know for I was him. God bless, Lighthouse Bob Next Challenge: “If ever I forget” |

Fantastic, Bob! So unworthy we are of His gracious forgiveness and unconditional love. Rae |

Have mercy, Bob. You are being unbelievably prolific. I have to catch my breath. Another lovely poem. Love, Joyce |

Beautiful Bob beautiful, words cannot describe how much I loved it. One day I will learn to cast away my fears and put all my trust in Him. |
