Lost Seekers Another black day in our land; Our hearts are filled with grief. There is only one place to turn To find needed relief. Dear God, please meet them at Your gates. They dared to reach so high. Is mankind growing much too bold; Are we not meant to fly? Our president has said it well. "We didn't see them land, We know they have gone on to home." Someday we'll understand. You gave us need and ambition In our short lives to find The key to all the mysteries Created by your Mind. Please bless our earnest endeavors To do the best we know To get to where we are going Where You would have us go. We ask protection for the ones Who carry out the plan That You have firmly planted in Resourceful mind of man. Our nation is in deep mourning Our hearts are full of pride, For each of those brave pioneers Who dared to reach and died. By: Joyce 02/01/03. |

(tears fall down my cheeks) Oh Joyce, I too just heard the news today and was saddened to hear of the Columbia crash, as I send hugs out to the families of these seven men and know now they will always be safe in space with Him! (sad sigh) God Bless You, sweet friend, now a moment of silence to think of them, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Joyce, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Love, Noah Eaton "Underneath your clothes there's an endless story..." |

Thank you, thank you. I pray the families of those brave men and women who died so publicly, will have the faith and knowledge that they will meet again. Joyce |

Joyce, A very heartfelt prayer and tribute to those seven men and women who had their lives suddenly taken away while achieving perhaps their lifetime long goal and adventure in space and for science. I too join our President's condolences for those who did not make it back to earth, but who we pray will each make it Home. Again, a very nice tribute and prayer for those who lost their lives today. GOD bless. -Bob |

Dear Joyce: A wonderful poem and tribute to those we lost today. What heart-breaking news it was! I have been thinking too of all the families and friends who had gathered to welcome them back. I'm sure they were glad to be together and hope it was some comfort to them. Betty Lou Hebert |

that very nice of you Joyce. I was still sleeping when all that happen. It was a tradgic thing, and hope nothing worse will ever happen, or I hope the US won't be attacking Iraq. Maybe I am not praying...but I know... |

Yes Eliza very tragic but it was just a horrible accident. I too hope we can settle things without war. Love, Joyce [This message has been edited by Joyce Johnson (02-02-2003 01:17 AM).] |

Yes Betty Lou, They were expecting a wonderful reunion and then this tragedy. My heart breaks for them. And I just heard there was another avalanche today. At the same place. How horrible. We are having our goodby for Craig tomorrow. Love, Joyce [This message has been edited by Joyce Johnson (02-02-2003 01:19 AM).] |

Joyce~ A touching tribute too those we lost. They were chosen by God above Seven left this world and one's they love We know not why Now their loved one's cry With wings of angels they now fly The world now mourns as we say goodbye Paul "To share my poems with you is to share my heart with you" |

It amazes me that no matter what the 'occasion' you can find exactly the right words. It is indeed a great gift that you have and brings comfort in times of need. |
