Honor to God, my living Head
All honor to the Lamb;
His voice breathes life into the dead
And strength into the lame.

Jesus, in Thee my hopes remain,
In Thee I place my fears.
Thy love, Thy grace my soul sustains-
The knowledge thou art near!

O let my tongue prepare a song
To worship God aright,
O let that joyful noise prolong
To win the well-fought fight.

O that mankind may come to know
The glories of my Lord,
And let His love within them grow
Supported by thy Word.

Abide with me fast falls the eventide.
