Where Strength and Courage Meet

To a All-knowing God who really cares about us.

Oh Lord my God, within this time
a time of great distress.
Would you not draw so close to us
as we go through this test?

Would you not open up our eyes
that we may see Thy Light,
That we may have the gift dear Lord
to see the evils of the night.

So long we've lived in peace and calm
real suffering we don't know.
Now as it sits here at our door
use it to help us grow.

Make us strong in You our God
help us see Your strength so close.
Let us reach our thoughts to Thee
the One that matters most.

Let us not falter in fears dismay
when Your helps so close a hand.
Let us Praise Your Holy Name
and know each step is planned.

You know what's coming there's no doubt
we have nothing Father to fear.
If we should lose our life today
it would not cause a tear.

For in Your Arms our life is given
where no lasting harm can come,
And there within You Arms Dear Lord
Strength and Courage become one.

I have always felt that the gospel is some clear and easy to understand, even for a child. It is humans that add all the big words and thoughts of their own that make it much harder to understand. I thank you for your kind comments. God Bless you.
