Extraordinary

Extraordinary is a word with hope
Fantastic, wonderful and great.
Marvelous, Olympian, phenomenal
Which one should we take?

Extraordinary desire for ones approval
Is something I don’t need,
Unless it’s from the only One
Who planted heavenly seed.

Exceeding daily in my life
To do my best and more,
That’s what I really want to do
Even when mopping up my floor.

When something is unbelievably great
This is what Phenomenal is.
To have a "a prodigious vision"
Is like a mystery or a quiz.

Today we look for unusual and rare
Where did it ever go.
It used to be we seen it more
But it flew as the wind did blow.

“Remarkable how that was done”
Something often said,
But now to find a good job done
Means getting out the led!

Special and tremendous are just a few
More neat names for Extraordinary,
Don’t forget tremendous and uncommon,
They’re all far from ordinary.

Let’s live our life Extraordinary all the time
Doing all we can to help someone alone the way.
Then at night we hear, “Remarkable
“What You Have Done Today!!"

Good advice using these 'out of the ordinary' words.  I heard a minister say AWESOME is a great descriptive word for Christ.  However, it's so overused today, it's lost it's meaning.

Thanks for sharing.

God bless,
Rae

when you wrote, "Extraordinary desire for ones approval Is something I don’t need,"

Truly, a few know that one. It really brings out the loner, John the Baptist style, when we finally know that break through. I wish I could say mopping the flow is a place for contentment but I have known the moments and definitely, need to know more of them.

Great insight in your poem.

I will share with you why I put that in my friend. The time is coming when again, it will be the few that stand against the many as was in the Dark Ages. It is coming back again. We will see the biggest mistake come in the re-uniting of church and state. This will take away all freedom of religion. There are churches uniting today. Just last month the CCT united thirty-six churches and National Christian organization representing over 100 million Christians. When these things take place we will need to be like Daniel, have it already in our minds, from the Holy Scriptures, that we will go with the few that really do follow His Word regardless of what may happen to us because of it. How do we do this? We study the Bible "ourselves" and learn by the Holy Spirits leading (that we pray for) what is the real Truths God has for us so we can truly be ready when this time comes. This is why I put that statement in my poem. Marie            God bless

Hugs,
Marie
