You couldn't come close to imagining how i felt that day,
The pain that shot through me like abolt of electricity,
The emptiness I suddenly felt,
The way I collapsed into my mother's arms in tears.

You will never understand my loss,
The way I felt,
I lost not only a father,
bit a friend.

Someone who was always there no matter how far it was,
A pal that turned my darkness into light,
and made everything better than ever.

I lost part of myself
No one can know what I felt when I lost him that day,
It's indescribable.

Welcome to the blue pages of the PIP family of friends.

I'm sorry for your loss.  In time you'll find you have new or renewed determination or direction steming directly from that hurtful loss.  Perhaps it's your poetry, your deeper respect for life, or relationship with another person.

When a teen relative lost his father, he asked, "Shouldn't the loss of one put more life into those he's left behind?"  I'll never forget that wonderful thought and it was still with me, years later,  in the loss of 2 of my children.

  God bless,
    Rae

I think that your title speaks volumes here...

...Indescribable!!!

I know that you know this already, but...

...you do have a Heavenly Father who is as real and who loves you (He Loves You) just as much and probably even more and who has always been like your Daddy is now…

….He's always been right there (right there) with you!!! Amen.

I'm sure that your Daddy was right there with you when you wrote this beautiful tribute to him and I'm certain that he was smiling down from ear to ear...

Big Smiles and God Bless,
-Bob
