This is my first post in this forum. I was thinking of how many times I have turned to God in times of need. I just felt I should write down what I was feeling. The thing is, it turned into more of a song. Regardless,I just wanted to share it.

I had walked along so blindly
Down this long and winding road
Falling off the edge time after time

I was holding on so tightly
To my false prophets and foolish gold
Yet my heart found what it was needing all the time

Finally I saw the light

In Jesus' name I found the answers
That this world could never hold
In Jesus' name I found the love
That never will grow old
I found the strength
To get me through the night
In Jesus' name I saw the light

When I fell upon my knees
And I bowed my head to pray
father could you forgive me of all my sins

I could feel the warm embrace
Of His sunlight on my skin
He said my child that's why I died and rose again

In Jesus' name I found the answers
This world could never hold
In Jesus' name I found the love
That never will grow old
He guides me through
My heart no more will roam
In Jesus' name I'm going home

Absolutely beautiful! It's so true for so many of having lived years without acknowledging Him. Once we become aware, it's so hard to imagine how we could've been blind so long and manage to live without awareness of Him. I'll look forward to seeing more of your work.

GREAT JOB!!!!!!!!!
I went through much of my life without Jesus in it! Growing up, I wasn't even supposed to speak His Name around my dad! As I grew up, I learned The Truth! I thank God I found Him, for He saved me just in time!
