Here, there and everywhere

I am the air you move

with every step you take,

I am the space in between

when you fold your hands

in silent prayer,

I am the everlasting echo

of the words you pronounce,

I am the sound wave

you produce

with the song of your heart.

I am the energy

you emit

with your every thought.

I am in the depth of the sea,

in the heights of the ether.

I am here, there

and everywhere.

I am what you see

with your eyes wide open

and what you perceive

with your eyes firmly shut.

There isn’t a place

where I am not.

Now and forever

be aware!

I am here, there

and everywhere.

Now is the time

for you to see

that I am you

and you are me.

God is always with us, He manifests Himself in all things. When we know God, we know LOVE.

This poem is truly moving and I love the meaning you are expressing. Sometimes I forget that God exists in every moment and every action. I could use this as a prayer to say each night to keep myself aligned.

I used to be more faithful and this poem brings me back to intimate moments and beliefs about God's presence in my life. I do hope HE still is everywhere around me....I missed HIM but I believe I'm running away from HIS love too. YOur poetry brings back the longing for GOD.

Dear FNG, thank you for your loving comment and for sharing your feelings. I believe it is impossible to run away from God, we are His offspring and we are rooted in Him. Feel yourself wrapped in His never diminishing Love. The thought of separation from God is an illusion.
The longing for God is the most intense longing we can experience. We long to be aware of Him, because we subconsciously remember our unity with Him. He is Love and He manifests Himself through LOVE and through all life.
Now, as Christmas approaches, we can celebrate Him in remembering the teachings of Jesus and in living them every day.
