Looking out the window looking at the world Stangely scared to realize I'm still a little girl. For many tears I have sat here and cryed wondering why he had to die.I ask myself what do I do now ,daddy I have to make in this big world somehow.A little scared to spread my wings afraid of what this life might bring.I spent my life in your arms with daddy their was never any harm. And now I am all alone in this world without you daddy I am a scared little girl.I sit at this window and watch the sun rise with painted saddows of prlit skies.I ask myself where I stand ,and realize I'll be alright because even though he's in heaven I still hold dadys hand. |

Stardust, My goodness!!! What a tear jerker and what a Wonderful first post.... I know what you mean about holding on to your Daddy's hand because my Mother died when I was two and I still hold on to her hand as well and I also know that there are some very kind people here at "Passions" that may come alongside you and take your hand as well from time to time when you need it. Thank you for sharing. I enjoyed your poem and I hope that you'll be back to share more of your poetry here with us. God bless. -Bob |
