Take me to your heart, Ignore me not for I am alive, With flesh and blood, Hardships brewed in my life. Take me to your heart, Release me from the dark, For I cannot bear the pain aside, Tears filled with my eyes, Light and shine through the night. Take me to your heart, Hide me inside, Let Your peace rest in my side, For my soul so tired. Copyright2006 © Elaine Torrefiel Sy |

A sincere prayer plea from a tired aching heart. Saying your soul is tired in the ending reminds me of the saying "the end of the rope is the beginning of God. Welcome to the wonderful family of PIP. Rae |

ailei, I love the words of your poem, they feel like a longing for something very special, deep and complete. |

ailei, I do believe that you can go in Him wherever you desire to go in Him and I do know that we can and do find that perfect perfect peace for the soul that you write about here in your poem. I enjoyed reading your poem very much. God bless, -Bob |

A heart rending plea. And I think the important step is the asking. Love, Joyce |
