Some say ignorance is bliss
in reality it motivates unneeded conflicts
hatred pours into the hole
leading to the soul
opened by ignorance

A birthmark on infants
given from parents
a sickness
inflicted upon society by satan with mild persistance
a sickness called ignorance

A very true poem. Some say ignorance is bliss but I believe it is just plain laziness. Your poem captures the essence of ignorance very well. Well done.

This is so sadly true. Life, being a series of constant decisions, becomes almost impossible for those who remain ignorant. We've all been there, but some never progress from that point. Thanks for sharing.
