The Shining Sword Inside, we have an inner strength We often aren't aware Is there for us to call upon, Until we have to bear Some grievous matter, stoically And that is when we find A deep reserve of fortitude. The legendary kind And once we realize this gift, Which God has surely sent, Will see us through our hardest times, We know He must have meant For us to call upon His Name To renew this power And use it like a shining sword, To slay our darkest hour! (sigh) God Bless You, sweet friend, we must not take our strength for granted and work to extinguish the opaque for a transparent porcelain luster! (big hugggsssssss) This is very poignant, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Betty, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Love, Noah Eaton "Underneath your clothes there's an endless story..." |

Your poem here seems so personal to me right now that I will be claiming it and holding on to these words as I too fight the good fight of faith in Jesus name. Thank you my poet friend for your encouragement. -Bob |

A wonderful truth Betty. We think there are certain things we could not handle if they happened to us. When they do we find this miraculous inner strength. It can only be God given.Love, Joyce |

Amen to this! Really touches me.. and then to think the Bible, the words of the Lord are sharper than a double edged sword.. so powerful and we hold it in our hearts. We hold HIM in our hearts, Praise GOD! Its amazing how he gives us strength in the weakest of times. His power is made perfect in our weakness.... Thank you Always, Alyssa - And so it was that time stood still - |

Joyce: Thanks for your astute comments! How fortunate we are to have a God who bolsters us in hard times and supplies as much strength as we need, for whatever the problem. Not once, but whenever we require it. Betty Lou Hebert |

Such a lovely post, we are certainly very blessed in having the strength of a Higher Power always behind us bolstering us up. I am an enigma, even unto myself. |
