“As I Sit Among GOD’S Beauty"

What beautiful things my eyes see.
The wonder of what my ears hear.
The “joy” of the bird’s song.
As I sit in my swing by the pond
Water running swiftly down the waterfall.
The sound takes me to places
I have never been before.

The gentleness of the wind
Blowing against my body.
The warm feeling of the suns
Embrace on my face.

Birds sing sounds, so happily as
They flutter from place to place.
Trees begin to whisper to each other,
GOD planted us kneeling here.

Butterflies they are so free.
As they float with such perfection.
Gently they flitter, from flower,
To flower, section to section.
As they suck the sweet nectar.
Their wings seem to glitter.

The smallest of His creatures in
This garden, GOD has allowed to be.
HIS idea of HIS beauty, which HE
Has created for you and me.

Fish, they swim so smoothly, and
As they pass each other by
They know that GOD has put them
There for us to stare and sigh.
Oh, how beautiful and golden they are,
In the Sun that shines so bright.
They can even be seen in the moonlight.

The other little creatures that GOD so
Lovingly has put here on earth.
Squirrels that frolick in the trees.
And eat among the birds.
Also the rabbits that eat the sweet
Clover that grows among the green grass.

As I Sit Among GOD’S Beauty, first comes
A smile, and then a little laugh.
To see all GOD’S creation and
Pray that it will last.

This was a nice poem enjoyed the beauty of God s handy work in His creation shown through it.

A great description of some of the beauty God's given us. Sure left me thinking of spring.

Such a beautiful poem. It is very visual and very warm to read it. You have a beautiful view of a beautiful God. I can sense your sweetness in this poem. You write with the same depth of love and awe for God and His creation that I do. I loved this poem. It made me yearn for summer so I can see the glitter on the butterfly's wings as they suck the nector from the flowers. A beautiful poem!!!
