Slumber hits me in my depressed state missing my loved one who no longer feels pain I'm missing her laughter and conversation on who's to blame Jody comforted me so much while here on this plane All I know is the knife of death cuts the ones who loved her so. I know in time this awful aloneness I feel must erase the sting of death. I asked God why she died so young and haven't found the answer I want I do know that it's Gods will not mine that was done and that time will heal my wounded heart. I will find laughter again. yet, haven't an answer I can accept? |

I'm sorry for your loss. The heaviness at times almost seems unbearable, but as we reach to help others, it lifts. Joyce is right about 'time.' That time passes faster as we're helping others. Who can relate better to the loss of a loved one than you? God has equipped you. Thank you for sharing your heart. May 2006 bring happy memories and blessings galore. Rae |

You sound so sad, and I can relate to that sadness and also to not finding that true peace yet. Mine is under different circumstances, but I know that you and I BOTH will one day find peace and we will understand why what happened actually had to happen and your friend's death will not be in vain and your pain will cease a little but never fully go away.
