I wrote the first part just to be by itself... but then I just started writing the second part. I think I got my answer  ~~~~~ Dear God, It hurts You knew it would Will you stop it? NO? I thought you could?! One thing after another You’ve put on me You made the earth You made the seas You made the creatures You made all men You created it all But You knew they would sin You knew I would hurt You saw all the pain You think I’m this strong Please, think again… Dear Erica: It hurts I know it does But I won’t take it away Why? Well, because Worse times are coming You’ll need to be strong I know you can do it Come to Me and hold on I know you feel lost And that you feel abused I know how you feel Since I’ve felt that way too I’ve lived in the flesh I know all your pain I could have been spared But I whispered your name I saw all your pain And I died, child, you see So I won’t be apart from you In your hour of need I’m here, right beside you I’m cheering you on I give you your hope I give you your song And… yes, my child I KNOW you’re this strong Most of us go to our grave with our music still inside of us. |

I admit my jaw is wide open and perhaps even lingering on the floor a bit..but I'm serious your words hit home and the second part well made me cry, thank you for sharing this, and I'm so thankful to have read your words! you are right we go through things that can only make us stronger..and I'm afraid to admit sometimes I don't see that and I allow them to break me *sigh* then again eventually I get back up..I just wish more ppl saw it that way..and sometimes I wish I could see it that way all the time.. LoveBug, So true. God does know us better than we know ourselves and he knows just how much pain we can bare. I love the italicized message here from God to you. It tells about the wonderful relationship that you have with Him in that you are sensitive enough to hear His voice. This is beautiful and I especially appreciate how Jesus says that he whispered your name at the cross. Again, the words here are beautiful. Good job and God bless you. -Bob |

Erica this is beautiful and sometimes it does seem like we are tested for our strength and in this I think we become even stronger. Very well written and much enjoyed. |
