Ask not why we should love our God, but that because He loved us first, And this is love, He sent His Son to die for us, worthy or not. If you ask how much He loves us, Let me count the ways He shows this: Lest we dash our foot against a stone, He takes our hand. Lest we fly so high we break our wings, He guides us. If the storms at sea have wrecked our ships, He shelters us. For this love He asks for nothing but to give Him all our love, in spite of what we are or did, He loved us first is all that counts. |

Ah, yes! When we stretch in an attempt to grasp His unconditional love, we see our reflection of selfcenteredness. When I could barely walk due to rheumatoid arthritis, I remember trying to grasp Jesus suffering WILLINGLY. How unloveable I am as an object for such love. I must believe it in faith because I'm at a loss for a full understanding of such awesome love. Thanks for sharing. Rae |

Love beyond all human understanding. I liked this sentiment. Love, Joyce |
