Saved Jesus saved me from the current; Placing me on higher ground. I was whirling towards the rapids 'Til His loving arms I found. Jesus guided me to safety When no other seemed to care, Gently guarding from the hazards That I didn't know were there. If you trust our gentle Savior He will do the same for you. Call His name, He'll walk beside you. Sin and danger won't get through. By: Joyce 05/13/05 |

Joyce - First of all I have to apologize for my absence here and for not responding to the gifts you gave me. They were great. So much history and joy of life within your poetry. My little book turned out great but in the middle of it all - my wife and I found we are expecting and everything since then has been crazy - I am going to attempt to get more printed soon and will send you one as soon as I do. This poem reminded me of the wonderful salvation I so do not deserve, but am so blessed to receive. Thanks again and I feel terrible for my neglect. As I begin to write again - I hope soon with new inspiration on the way - I will be posting once again. - Tim He that trusteth in his own heart is a fool: but whoso walketh wisely, he shall be delivered. I feel with your words how close you are to our Saviour. Such privilege to walk with you who walks with Him daily. |
