Every underlying fear an empty promise of uncertainty,
a dutiful cry, on the hollowed insides of my heart,
the walls broken, to reveal the true emptiness,
the truth, the light of mine that HE fills.

When I let it shine I fall down,
to the ground, and I weep,
for all I have done is become, Self-centered and wishy-washy.
Thinking with a familar smile, that I am too good for you?

How does this world see me,
selfish and unwilling,
I'm stumbling on a path of brokeness,
in a line headed directly to familiarity.

But I won't knocked,
because my Lord, my Savior will lift me higher.
He is almighty no matter how bad I fail.
He will love me, for all eternity.

I will fly up in sky,
among the stars, among the blue, among the heavens
to place of certainty, a place of definately, a place of everlasting.
Here is my destiny, it will be unveiled to me.

And I will have my battles won,
they were fought, upon the cross,
And Jesus wears my scars with dignity.
He was sacrificed for all my wrong doings, my second chances.

My battles were never lost, but they were won,
My thoughts, My actions, My fears,
Protected, righted wrongs, and left split open,
My thankfulness, my hopefulness, My Gratitude, Genuine.

The genuine sincerity,
the peace that goes with it.
The love, the joy and everything in between,
given graciously, and abundantly, for free.
