There is a God above,
who on us is looking down
He loves to see our smiles,
but so often sees our frowns
When our troubles, trials and woes,
we always think upon
Can we find joy in our hearts,
when we do this, dear one?
In the "Good Book", if we read,
we will find so clearly
What, if we think upon.
will bring smiles and joy, surely
