This desolate wasteland within me,
These barren lands inside,

as lifes joy ebbs

Over fields of friendship emptied,
On these hills abandoned long,
I searched for the one,

Upon these winds all empty,
These forbbiden skies so blue,
A fleeting sense surrounds me,
singing
a song that could be true.

Over the mountains I climb,
Through the valleys i roam,
On emptied prairies bereft of joy,
a tune
plays to lead me home

I find a vale of happiness,
A land of beauty, grace and charms,
A knowing enters my waking mind,
as i find myself
embraced in your glorious arms

The tune was your gentle breathing,
The song your warmth and love,
The world is once more beautiful,
as your eyes open
"good morning my precious dove!"
