Dancing Again

This is a two part poem dealing within and outside a person’s spheres of life. It started as a single one in “Dancing Within”.

Dancing Within

Hands on my head
Supporting the weight
Of too much pain
In sighs of soft breathes
Looking downward

Closed eyes sometimes weeping
Storming into pools of feelings
The sorrows of life drains
In saline solutions
Of torments breaking free

Calming waters
As the weight has lifted
With a face now looking upward
Into the high heavens
In hands magnetically
Coming together

Bonding within celestial hopes
Clinging intertwined hands
Merging with whispers so soft
That they carry helium thoughts
On angelic wings

A tear drops in the hope
That the message is heard
As a sigh releases pressure
Leaving the inner spirit
Dancing again

Dancing World

May all the religions of the world
Put their hands on their head in shame
In the wars and atrocities done in their name
Religion should never be about war
Saying which salvation is always right

Religion should be about peace
In the respect of getting along
In the diversity that was given us
To be different in many ways
Reaching the inner most spirituality
That we are blessed with

In hands that magnetically come together
In our sorrows and trepidation saying
“We are the children
We are the future
We all need the spiritual hope
To be able to survive bigotry”

So if you are a religious leader
That says I must die for you
That I must kill my fellow man
Shame, shame on you
And the gutter of life
You came from

Life is the most special gift
Ever given to anyone
It is a blessed event in all religions
It all gives those that bear it
The inner peace of that time
That should perpetuate throughout time
Not taken away in martyrdom
By false prophets

We all must look upward for hope
But now instead of our hands coming together
Form the chain of humanity
That has no barriers or boundaries
Dancing in a sea of humanity

Thought: May the peace we seek in our souls, go beyond us and reach out for the diversity of the heavens of other people’s peaceful thoughts.

Thought: May words drive us together and not to war.

Beautiful dancing here. Onward and upward.

Here in the midst of my lonely abyss, a single joy I find...your presence in my mind.  Unknown
