Buck – On Depression Hey little lady, heard you been having some trouble – quit watering those flowers and let’s you and me walk a while. Whatever it is, it’ll pass, you know. Don’t shake your head at me, now, I know from depression. I didn’t live these seventy years without seeing some mighty bad shh- stuff. Pretty fall colors everywhere. This is a nice neighborhood, ain’t it? Been walking ole’ Duke here every morning since the wife and I moved here in ’94. She passed way in ’97; that’s okay, you don’t need to say nothing. That house is way too big for Duke and me, but I ain’t got the heart to sell. Where’d a grumpy fool like me go, anyway? Life’s here. Let them carry me out in box. Crying’s good. You go on and cry now, girl, ‘cause it’s a hell of lot better to let it out than hold it all inside. The mind is like a road map: when you’re feeling good, the map is wide open, with all kinds of possibilities. When you’re feeling bad, you start folding that map up, one crease at a time, till not even you can find yourself. So, get your map out, girl, there’s lots of different ways to go, but can’t get there without directions. You want, we can walk tomorrow, too. © 2002 Core |

(big hugggssssss) God Bless You, sweet friend, this is so beautifully sensitive, you always have wonderful advice for I used to have a severe case of depression but overcame the demons and now want to live my life being the mongoose to others and helping children find comfort and attend to their special needs! (sigh) This is heartfelt, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Corinne, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! it's good that you listen. . . great job. . . ------------------------------------------------------------ To the world, you may only be one person. But to one person, you may be the world. |
