The one I love is someone dear
who only I wish could be near.

But now that you are gone and we're through
I sit and wonder what to do.

Because you were right and I was wrong
and now its time to change the song.

And even though that we're apart
there's still a place for you in my heart.

Now I guess its up to you to decide
there's no way either can run and hide.

I only wish that you could see
just how much you mean to me.

Andrea, this is such a good poem and so well written. It seemed to me that you were pouring your heart out to a lost love. I'm so sorry if you are the one feeling this, Andrea. I hope that things get beter real soon. Thanks for sharing you poem.
