Bare moon illumination, me slipping the key into your lock, standing there in my smoky grey London Fog? Remember, The one you bought for me, in the city, insisting the color brought out the blue in my green eyes? Remember, You grinning as I whirled around once, you embracing me, huskily whispering, "Yes, that's you!" Remember, You scuffed barefoot to the door, welcoming me in, taking my coat, and I stood there with nothing on? Remember, You grinning as I whirled around once, you embracing me, huskily whispering, "Yes, that's you!" I remember, too, how I loved you. Remember? . . . . . . . . . note that London Fog is a well-known kind of expensive brand name of a raincoat (I thought it was well-known) but from comments, evidently not? ..without surrender, be on good terms with all persons.. Sometimes memories seem as though it's the present. The imagery in your poem certainly brought it to life. Well done! Deb |

Sunshine and Noah, I don't mean to laugh for I was trying to write a serious poem. I have since edited the poem at bottom to include fact London Fog is a rather expensive, internationally well-known raincoat. I seriously believed everyone knew that, but being from the S.F Bay Area might make a different, tho. I no longer live there, but, it rains all winter long there... Not sure how you could feel the fog, for it was a bare moon illuminating... this truly strikes me funny... I guess I had better keep trying to write in a more cognizant way....so, for what it's worth, I am not personally, nor, in this poem, ~in a fog~! I do sincerely appreciate your replies. Really I do...(big smile) Warm Regards, Pat ..without surrender, be on good terms with all persons.. |

Deb, Thanks for your reply. Trying to learn to write in a different form, and am glad the imagery was clear to you. Pat Bill, (sigh), these things just don't happen often enough...meaning, special moments in time.....thanks for replying. Pat ..without surrender, be on good terms with all persons.. |
