The autumn winds are blowing chill and cold the leaves are withered, fallen on the ground the message held in summer has been sold and all because you, love are not around I walked in summer's beauty, held your hand I listened to the singing bird song sound but winter fills me, - I don't understand how you're not here and why you're not around In the springtime love caressed my heart I held your hand and wandered where you'd bound but winter comes to tear us both apart And now I grieve because you're not around I loved you with a passion scarred and bent fulfilled in you, my questing heart was found but now I sing the songs of grief's lament and sit in darkness - you are not around Perhaps some day my soul will sing again For now, I wish my life was underground You gave me sunshine, then you gave me pain You came, you left and now - you're not around. Here in the midst of my lonely abyss, a single joy I find...your presence in my mind. Unknown |

This is beautiful and I too can relate, summertime isn’t too bad to be with out some one, but when the weather starts turning cold, you miss not having some on to cuddle with. I really really liked this. |

Lynne, this is very good. I really do relate to it since my Gary and I are in a long distance relationship (due to circumstances we can't control right now). Even though we talk on the phone every single day, I would still love to have his arms PHYSICALLY around me. Thanks for sharing this. Love To All, Ethel |

One of my very favorite songs is Forever Autumn sung by Justin Hayward... a repeating line is "cause you're not here"... The beauty of this matches that melody and touches the heart just as much. *S* |

Keth beloved heart as always darling heart you write the refrain that sings in my soul, how do you do that? Whatever you do it so well When you aren’t there, there’s an empty space Which leave a shade of longing on my face I hear your voice in the echoes of my lonely sigh You’re not here and I wonder why?
