The path less traveled offtime leads to unfamiliar shore
Wherein lies great adventure one has never known before
To get there, one must toss aside the cloak of human doubt
and venture past familiar walls that keep adventure out...

One only needs to open eyes whilst closing tight the ears
so not to be influenced by well-meaning thoughts and fears
Relying on the feelings and the need so deep within
The path we choose is soon revealed, the journey now begins...

The first step is the longest, into worlds we've never seen
Excitement is the strongest on the pathway to our dream
Though danger is reality, along the path it lay
To focus on the goal ahead will wipe the doubt away...

There will be those who think they know, but never understand
the power of the choices waiting there within their hand
If you are one who sees that destiny is yours to win
The path less traveled beckons you, the journey will begin...

Pen how you truly feel...
it is a safety-valve for the soul!

Yes, fear and negative thinking can keep us from experiencing so many wonderful things.I know that all too well and am trying my best to change. Sunnyone, this is an excellent write that I am going back to read again. Chris

(smiles) Oh my gosh, this is so very true, sweet friend, life is a journey and being a little boy who went through depression I know that first step ever so well but now I walk on with a smile and it seems easier than ever and I know if you believe anything is possible!
