understand me when I say my heart cannot bear the scars of a cutting tone with as much diligence as it used to. There is no more room on this skin for another ache another gash another slice made by words not thought upon another lonely trail made by unkempt tears. The only place I could ever dream was in the arms of your words but the pillows and sheets that once comforted me are getting rough and I can't bear that scraping sound my body makes every time I move within them. "two hearts will build the foundation for one point of light |

smiling....sounds like you heard a "want of oil" all the way over there... You, lady, write the sadness beautifully. |

A lesson in sensitivity..Harsh words and tone do scrap and rub a love's soft skin...and wound a heart...a reminder for all who love and want to continue to love...thank you. ...believe what your heart feels... |

In the quiet of the aftermath comes reflection, forgiveness, and the realization that love listens with soft ears. Thank you. What light through yon window breaks? It is the east, and Juliet is the sun. |

Oh, I hear you. Perhaps some Sandalwood essential oil would do the trick. Great for the skin, good for the emotions, and can perk up one's love life. Sorry to hear the pain in your words---you wrote about it so well, I'm feeling it! ~ May things improve for you on all fronts.~ Earth Angel |

(big hugggsssssss) Oh Jennifer, I'm sorry to hear you're aching, sweet friend, my heart goes out to you and know after every storm there is a rainbow so reach with your heart and find that calm reflection! (sigh) God Bless You, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Jennifer, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! I know the aftermath. . . there are always scars. . . would that they could be healed. . . it's always good to read you my friend. . . ---------------------------------------------------------- To the world, you may only be one person. But to one person, you may be the world. |

Jennifer, this is a very good poem. You expressed the feelings so well. It's just so sad, I hope you aren't feeling this way now. Thanks for sharing. Love To All, Ethel |
