Cattle

They seem meant to share.
Ambling up from the creek,
their heads bowed
as if reverencing the landscape,
they nourish
with a brief glimpse of acceptance
that twists my neck
then immediately passes
as I hurtle down the interstate.

Lovely pastoral view you've shared, though speeding by, you take an increment of time to pause and 'smell the roses' hehehehe.

Actually you seem to have not been graced with the scent of your vision, which in some ways, makes it more of a blessing, I'm sure.
