I watched your words Shadow past the meaning Leaving all to wonder Mysterious Hints Choiced here On parchment page In unaware Flitting towards flame But never leaving Demanding grey Illumination still From reflection I watched your pen And understood We are lit from within But deny so shadow past our words [This message has been edited by Cpat Hair (10-21-2002 01:40 PM).] |

Well, that was a clever addendum to your title! haha No one would want to be conspicuous by their absence by not reading and replying to this one! hehe Yes, I also write from my heart. While my writing is pretty straight-forward I have a great deal of admiration for poets who make me think and try to discover what they are trying to convey. Often, I have discovered after reading the author's and other's replies, that I had completely missed the mark and that my interpretation was way out in left field. That can sometimes be embarassing. But I'm learning to interpret the nuances as I continue to read, read, and read some more! Great poem! Great thoughts! EA |

I watched your pen And understood it is amazing how we can see ourselves in the pen of another...how we seek others 'words' with which to relate our insides to...but then again poetry is so much more than words...which is just what this excellent poems says....wonderful write cpat ![]() |

Quenched in flow of words squeezing out from layers of sediment thanks for the comment my friend EA.. shows how dumb I am..wasn't even thinking of clever ways to get people to read this or reply...( chuckling) although I can see how it might work... thanks for the comments they are appreciated. JB Exactly...and not quite all... ( smiling) always appreciate your taking time to look in and comment. Glad you enjoyed. Brian..in my case it is a 15 watt that has a few years of grime on the surface..so not likely to need those sunglasses around anything I write.. thanks for the words my friend... |

Ron Across the dusk stolen grass a web of finest filament vibrates touched by breeze unseen a home or tomb? For some reason you inspired this...enjoy your writing, as always...with a hug! |

Cpat, It often seem the words not spoken are the ones which say the most in all the poetry I read here. Enjoyed, Pat ..without surrender, be on good terms with all persons.. |
