She just looks, Knowing my soul is in pain, She sees tears And listens As I break to soft sobbing. Quiets fears With a touch, And the shallowest of smiles, Wipes the tears, Knows so much Having walked similar miles She just looks, Needing no conversation. Gloom |

Thank you, serenity blaze, Sometimes silence is all that’s needed, But for silence to work There must be understanding. This is sort of the other side to the other poem, Glad you enjoyed this one also Gloom |

Professor Gloom, this is very good work. Yes, Silence is Golden...but also knowing that someone understands you is also golden. Thanks for pointing this out, because I, like Serenity said, sometimes have a very hard time of being "silent"....in fact most of the time. But, I have been told that I'm a good listener, too. Soooo.
