It has taken me awhile to realize some people do write exclusively for this board. I've always written ......(far past) for whomever, (layman, non-poet) who don't necessarily look for 'type', but often say, "It seems you wrote this just for me." I KNOW I've offended some here and I also KNOW that same poem was an affirmation for anothers. Also don't know if you are specifically referencing this site-these poets, but I just found even more forums, here, on which to post. Some of mine should have been posted in a different forum, (most recent: "I, The Lumberjack")  I think, but if they are too far off base a moderator would notify. I personally like a variety, emotional, as well as other themes. Any kind of emotional works for me, and I find it interesting to view others perspectives and heartfelt anything negative or positive....

I also think your poem may have nothing to do with fellow poets.
