DOUBTS AND FEARS JUST GO AWAY by Ethel He says a complicated lady am I And to please not ever let our love die I say, I'm so sorry, with a sad reply Sometimes the fears make me want to cry I say, I had many heartaches in the past He says, but our love will forever last Just believe your heart, he often asks But forgetting the past for me is a hard task He does all he can to prove to me his love In my heart I know he's sent from above His love is as gentle as a little dove No one's ever showed me this much love Beautiful songs and poems he writes to me And also paints pictures for me, you see His love for me is as beautiful as can be If only my mind would let me completely believe I want to throw away my doubts and my fear If I could there'd hardly ever be a sad tear If only my hearts voice I will ever hear It tells me our love is special and so very dear (to be continued.......) |

Ethel Sounds like he is a very sweet guy...sometimes you just gotta take a chance and not let the hurt from the past keep you from your future. Love doesn't come around so gently all that often. Loved the sweet honesty of your poem and I wish you well. |

Ethel, it is nice to see you expressing feelings. My comment is simply, what is the rush? Day by day. BTW: Did you see the reply to your query in SimplyGold's "FADE AWAY" poem posted 10/14? Robtm1965 thoroughly answered your questions, about 2-3 posts down from yours in the poem. Plus he's given a thread for even more vital info.  (big hugggsssssss) Oh Ethel, I know this feeling ever so well, sweet friend, I know I have to stop feeling this way yet I miss my Joanna a lot and I can't help but wonder if she stills love me as I love her beyond her wildest imagining! I always write poems for her and send her ceramic polished hearts I made in art class and cute Tigger gifts and cards and tea in the mail and I wonder if that is still not enough! (sigh) This is heartfelt, sweet friend, I wish you and your love the greatest happiness always, God Bless You, we all love you so much!
