The day is dismal with no warmth to be found, With what seems no way to be lead to the light. For the path was croaked and devious, Not as it appeared, and so smartly concealed. Once it appeared clear and friendly, Too late to realize the ways were not true. The wrong reasons given, and believed once again. Many times fooled by this path, Will wisdom ever break through weak emotions? There must be hope, for the game has been figured out, Not too late to save the next pitfall, as now eyes are wide open.Eyes that though they see the wrong convince themselves it has changed. Eyes that refuse to understand things are not as they appear on surface. Eyes that have cried a ton of tears, and faced far too many fears. Yet, these eyes shall not be turned bitter. |

bitterness is a hard thing to ward off...I know and haven't figured out how it's done. |
