Where did van Gogh
when he left his palette
upon my doorsteps,
forgetting
I was not
a real artist?

I've tried to blend your colors
but my vision is too weak.
My skies are not so brilliant,
my meager clouds do not dance about,
  those stars never twinkle,
  yours always did shout.

So where did
van Gogh?
I really need him now,
to remind me
of the beauty
of love and life,
and all that other rainbow stuff.

I can't believe people would steal not one but two masterpieces! What a world truly nothing is sacred, like the time some threw pain at the Mona Lisa, at least it was covered thank god. I'm so enraged at the thought I can't even comment clearly.........

I don't know where he is now...but I Know his family well...

You've heard of the artist named van Gogh,
But here's some things ya didn't know,
He had a sister who was blonde and dizzy,
Her name was "Verti" which was quite fitting.

Now Verti Gogh would always play,
With her sister, "Winnie Bay"
When Winnie grew up you know that she,
Invented those big buck RV's.

They had a brother whose name was Please,
He was a smart-ass and a tease,
But Vincent was by far the smartest,
He of course became an artist.

(big hugggsssssss) I find it disgusting how someone(s) can steal such precious artwork, as art is part of a person's soul! (sad sigh) I hope they catch those thieves and turn them in and that the artwork is not damaged! (sigh) I'm praying for the best-case scenario, he too is an inspiration to me, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Kacy, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

This is good stuff. How long does it take for most of you to write?

TOE! that is ridiculously funny! You really are a rascal, aren't you?
Thanks Ron, Noah, Pat, Nancy.
Pawg? Welcome to Passions! As for how long? It varies a lot, at least with me. Some poems come to me in a flash, and the writing just flows. Others take time and make me bleed a bit, make me sweat it out for the right word.

He walked into a field and used a shotgun as a punctuation mark, sold but one painting while breathing, was a depressed individual. Sorry, this isn't for shock value (though I'm not above it). When something moves you please praise the artist.

Forgot to post this in my first reply, thought you might appreciate it as much as I do. Full of backgrounds and galleries, while I'm bound to the classic of the rennasaince I think Dali is brilliant and as a surrealist is more akin to a poet than a painter at times.
