I read you,
but, personally don't
care to pick your brain
with further inquiry
of what you were thinking,
what part of your life
this includes, or, does it?
Or, guessing what ulterior motive
you might have had.
Though many do,
I prefer to accept
this submission to me
as a complete gift, wrapped
in the beautiful of you.

I thank you for your
givingness
to share with me
all of you
at the moment written.

I accept your present
unwrap with relish,
looking for,
a delicious surprise,
and wear it warmly,
cherishing your effort.

Thank you for leaving
outcome to me,
for you cannot slam me
unless I am willing
to be thrown down,
a place perhaps, I do
need to be.
And, you cannot uplift me
unless I am
willing to fly,
a place I may want to
try my wings.

Always, I hope we're friends,
as we walk ~side by side~
sometimes, bumping,
one,into the other,
with our poetry,
on this walk
of life,
love, and learning.

~Thank you, I love you
for your effort
and this gift
from you to me~

Yes, Pat, this is a beautiful tribute to every poet. Thank you for your gifts to us, also, dear lady.

Ron and Ethel,

It is written on behalf of every poem I've ever read here, and I wrote it from the bottom of my heart, for I am so glad for all I learn from all of you.

I do cherish each and every
poet and poem, each are treasures, in and of themselves. Such beauty and wisdom lies within these blue walls, ever teaching me more and more about myself and others.

Warm regards, Pat

I do believe
one of the best gifts
here in Passions,
is reading poetry that comes
to share the thanks of us,
as individuals,
not only to the site, and it's owner,
but to those poets who share...
and care.

So, Pat?     Thank YOU for this gift!

So thoughtfully you my friend.  I liked especially the part about...
I cannot be thrown down...

We often put our own power into someone else's hands...because we forget how strong love makes us.  ThisDiamond

This is wonderfully written and with such heart.

Oh Pat, this is such a wonderful thank you. There is such joy in reading each other's works. Personally speaking, I have learned volumes from the many talented writers that grace these pages.

Hugs, Marti

THis is all so true....We get only what we allow ourselves with each poem we read.
Allowing us to fly and spread our wings,to be thrown down, or to be afflicted in anyway.

You captured it all ...and perfectly

Thank you, Paul. And thanks to the rest of you for replying. I do believe we are blessed to have this opportunity of each sharing our unique ideas, teaching, touching and ever learning more from one another.

I thank you and Ron, the owner of this site for all his selfless hard work in making this an outstanding site.
