I'm lost in a class full of work And right now i dont want to do it But i had this little smerk I knew what i had to do: was to get a fit Math problems, equations and more I was going crazy I figure what to do: was to be lazy And dont do work anymore Teachers on my case Do your work or your going to fail My dad all in my face I wanted the teachers to go to H..... I wasnt going to say that, Instead i couldnt wait for the sound of the bell At last free from talking and office visits Man i hated lunch detention I figure i'd do something more explicit Like acting up, i bet that would get some attention I thought i would change for the next hard day I thought i'd be good I had a rough talk from my dad that last all day I got it and understood Thanks dad (This was just a joke) |

a joke perhaps... but a situation faced by both students, parents, and teachers. how to get a student involved and caring in their own education. How to motivate them... hard work, yes, but in many ways not as hard as what is expected when you do get out and find a job. If a parent can reach their child...and help them understand how important it is to have an education...then they indeed deserve the thanks of not only the student, but the thanks of society itself. a joke perhaps... |
