A Poem for Your Special Day

When I look into your eyes
I see a future bright
I believe I know the answers
to the questions wrong or right

Sometimes I'm afraid
when stressful times are here
but when I see your smile
all my worries disappear

When I look into your eyes
my love comes unbound
But I knew that you would leave me
when a special one was found

All the time I'd held off
bringing someone new into this world
Seems to me a waste now
when I look at my beautiful girl

When I look into your eyes
I know that you are mine
It's a very special feeling
that I can't quite define

And now the time has come
to give you away
I can't believe daddy's little girl
is all grown up today

they never grow up... they just think they do. In your eyes she is always your little one..
