Dawn’s Hope

When dawn stands ready to flood the day
With sun kissed light and morning ray
I will hear your voice stirring in me
Speaking to my soul of love’s clarity
Although it’s hard to walk without you
I will try to do all that you asked me to
Light will not fade from my heart’s sky
I’ll not cede my soul to tears hopeless cry

When the night begins to fade to day
And greyness mist over my soul does lay
I will seek the light that you left with me
Lifting my eyes to see it shine clearly
Despair won’t come stalking my mind
Regret and rue I’ve left far far behind
Tears won’t chain me to shadowy night
I shall open my heart to the sun’s new light

When the sky’s dawning smile first appears
I will bid farewell to my soul’s tears
You asked me to smile for your sake
And that smile shall banish all heartache
Sunset and shadows can’t hold me long
You taught me to sing my heart’s song
The path to the future is waiting for me
And each step forward is a small victory

Sun light shall reflect in my misty eyes
As onward I go toward dawn’s new skies

Marsha

Breathe through the heat of our desire
Thy coolness and they balm
Let sense be dumb let flesh retire
Speak through the earthquake wind and fire

SweetMarshaLove~
Knowing the intend from the heart, makes this particularly poignantly tender~

There is sunlight amid shadows as you reach each bend in your heartpath~
Reaching out and *hugging* you every day~

'J' is so very fortunate to have loved you~

Dappled sunlight on green is not as poetically moving as this. Mushy my love you do my heart proud and J must be lifted by your strength and courage.

when the night is still fleeting, hold on
and your heart's in God's keeping, be strong
though you must feel like weeping, walk tall
cuase your heart is still beating, through all
all the tears that are flowing, now gone
I will hold you and love you, along

Such a beautiful thought. and I am not dry eyed over here either.

Haunting and beautiful.
