You stand before the emptey throne in the dark shadows cast by the past all gone I kneel as i once did in suplicance long ago in my past life i now see A love in those shadows before the throne I remember/see you laughing I remember/know your beauty and grace How you played and then hurt indiscriminantly Perhaps I was one of a great many Perhaps I was first of a great few I do not see before or after me and you I wonder why i did not warn me, I know i love you. We all have taken new roles I nolonger the serf merely the seeker you nolonger royalty merely "princess" yet it played as it once did history repeats Long flowing robes impress themselves over your Jeans and T-shirt remind me of my dreams and tears I am lost in this Past/Present So i stand looking into the future What is it i will be could i understand But i know history will come round I will warn him; yet i hesitate why I Would have him know your love For this one great passion I have all but desroyed myself who am I to deny him that Take a good look at my face |

Aching heartbeat heard in this one, Paul. And a willingness to remain in love while giving up the throne. |

A haunting sojourn through time, reality, and parallel plains, reminding me of the relativity of it all... -MVS "AS ABOVE SO BELOW" |
